Client Requirements
Brand new 220 bed student accommodation varying from 3-5 storeys with a partial basement, situated in the south of Leamington Spa.
GHW Consulting Engineers Contribution
GHW worked directly for the Client / Investor. The upper storeys were designed in load-bearing masonry with a mixture of a mansard and gull wing steel framed roofs.
Added Value
GHW were involved right from the early stages and provided advice on how to deal with the challenging structure footprint, encompassing the whole of the site and inclusion of a basement.
